Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, is seeking a Quality Engineer to support quality review and analysis under the Quality Manager. The role ensures compliance with customer and company quality system specifications and requirements.

You will conduct internal and external quality audits, participate in customer and third-party audits, apply Lean principles to drive site metrics, investigate RMAs, and coordinate corrective actions to maintain ISO9000/AS9100 compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Export-control sensitivity and US work authorization required.
• ASQ Internal Auditor preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct internal and external quality audits including suppliers and other sites.
• Prepare for Customer and Third-Party audits.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve site metrics.
• Investigate RMAs and quality escapes; drive corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Howmet and customer quality system requirements.
• Review standards, develop gap analyses, and implement changes.
