Job summary

You will verify CMM data, develop QA procedures, and support APQP and new product launches while coordinating with suppliers and production to improve processes and product quality.

The role emphasizes preventing non-conformances, leading corrective actions, and maintaining PPAP/QA documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Requires technical degree and 5+ years in heavy manufacturing.
• ITAR eligibility required (U.S. person).
• Strong communication across departments and with customers/suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Verify CMM reports and blueprints.
• Develop and maintain QA procedures meeting customer specs and Howmet objectives.
• Assist with APQP and new product launches.
• Interface with customers on quality requirements and final product realization.
• Monitor suppliers for compliance with specs and Howmet requirements.
• Implement and maintain QA systems and equipment.
• Train and develop quality improvement programs.
• Lead root/cause corrective action and internal audits.
• Manage final inspection, PPAP, and related quality activities.
• Support production to resolve product/process issues and drive continuous improvement.
