Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Quality Assurance RN for Home Infusion Services to review OASIS assessments, ensure chart accuracy, and verify documentation meets CMS and agency standards.

You will collaborate with the Director, Nurse Manager, and clinical staff to support quality improvement activities, monitor action plans, and ensure timely, compliant patient care.

This full-time role requires 2 years in home health and Texas RN licensure with NLC compact recognition.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2 years in home health care.
• Licenses and Certifications: RN license with Texas Board of Nursing upon hire; NLC compact recognition upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews OASIS assessment documents for accuracy, consistency and supporting documentation.
• Ensures that the client's plan of care is executed as written.
• Audits daily notes for proper documentation and ensures chart reviews are timely, accurate, and meet CMS data requirements.
• Monitors compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements; develops plans of action to correct deficiencies.
• Discusses documentation discrepancies with Supervisors and clinical staff.
• Participates in case conferences and ensures documentation is completed per agency policy.
• Reviews reports of complaints, errors, incidents, and grievances for proper handling.
• Performs internal audits and participates in staff education for documentation and QAPI.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
