Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for Home Infusion Services in the Dallas area. The Home Infusion Services RN provides specialized nursing care and case management for infusion therapy in patient homes, under Nursing Manager supervision.

The role requires RN licensure in Texas, BLS, and ability to travel within the service area; experience with vascular access devices and infusion therapies is preferred.

Qualifications

• Texas RN licensure or eligibility via Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• BLS certification from AHA/ARC is required.
• Valid Texas driver's license; automobile insurance.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Certificate Course within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and administer infusion therapies at home; manage vascular access devices.
• Monitor patient outcomes, adverse reactions, and treatment effectiveness.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals, medications, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and document plans of care.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of infusion medications per standards and regulations.
• Travel to patient homes and designated locations within the service area.
