Job summary

Huntington Valley Healthcare Center is seeking an RN or LVN with Long Term Care experience to lead quality assurance and QAPI initiatives. You will develop, implement and coordinate QA programs to enhance resident care and monitor performance against benchmarks.

The role involves collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, producing timely quality reports, and educating staff based on findings. Infection control oversight, HIPAA training, and adherence to regulatory standards are required.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN license with 3+ years Long Term Care experience
• Specialized training in QAPI or QAPI Certification a plus
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret regulatory guidance and write reports

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and coordinate QA and assessment programs to enhance resident care.
• Prepare quality reports for the QAPI committee and monitor trends.
• Educate staff based on findings and trends; work with IDT for training.
• Infection control oversight including surveillance and investigation of infections.
• Assist with corrective actions for state/federal survey deficiencies and HIPAA trainings.
