Goldbelt Apex LLC, a data-focused company within the Healthcare Technology Transformation Group, seeks a Mid-level Quality Assurance Program Analyst to analyze and improve the DES QAP for disability determinations, with consultancy on normalization across the DES enterprise.

Based in Falls Church, VA, the role may be performed remotely when authorized and supports DoD policy with performance metrics, reporting, and policy guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, program analysis, compliance, process improvement, or program management.
• Experience reviewing program performance and compliance against established requirements.
• Experience developing or supporting quality assurance policies, procedures, performance measures, or corrective actions.
• Experience preparing formal reports, decision papers, briefings, or analytical products.
• Tier 1/non-sensitive, with the applicable DHA background investigation and suitability requirements.

• Shall provide a decision paper to the appropriate government lead that assesses and recommends an action plan.
• Draft changes to existing or development of new QAP policy, operational direction, and oversight activities.
• Recommend performance measures, goals, and focus areas. Review, update, and facilitate distribution of all QAP related tools.
• Draft, gain approval of, and facilitate the distribution of a QAP Report for quarterly submission.
• Review program performance and develop recommended courses of action to change program processes or DoD policy.
• Provide other support as needed.

Summary

The Quality Assurance Program Analyst (Mid) shall analyze, research, propose changes to, develop, and monitor the Military Services’ compliance with the DES Quality Assurance Program to support accurate and consistent disability determinations for those in the DES. The Contractor shall be capable of recommending and providing consultancy on normalizing and integrating Quality Assurance Program (QAP) throughout the DES enterprise.

Personnel are assigned in support of DHHQ in Falls Church, VA, but may work from the contractor facility or remotely when authorized.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

• Shall provide a decision paper to the appropriate government lead that assesses and recommends an action plan. Upon approval, draft changes to existing or development of new QAP policy, operational direction, and oversight activities. Recommend performance measures, goals, and focus areas. Review, update, and facilitate distribution of all QAP related tools, to include checklists, sampling requirements, assessment procedures.
• Will be responsible for drafting, gaining approval of, and facilitating the distribution of a QAP Report for submission to the government lead quarterly (CDRL 7).
• Review program performance against established goals and other indicators determined by the appropriate government employee and develop recommended courses of action to change existing or development of new program processes and/or DoD policy. Recommendations should be based upon thorough operational research and statistical analysis of the impact, advantages, disadvantages, and cost. Shall develop appropriate policy, staffing documents, and implementation guidance and submit to the appropriate government program lead for approval.
• Provide other support as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong research, analytical, and written communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, healthcare administration, quality management, analytics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, quality management, or process-improvement methodologies preferred
• DoD, DHA, federal healthcare, or military program experience preferred

Pay And Benefits

The salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $100,000.00 annually.
