Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate data analysis, reporting, and data quality activities supporting DES and SCAADL programs.
• Analyze large datasets from multiple sources using approved data analysis and statistical software to identify trends and data quality issues.
• Develop and maintain recurring weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports for government stakeholders.
• Analyze program performance data and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Develop complex charts, tables, graphs, and visualizations for reporting requirements.
• Monitor data quality across program systems and recommend prevention methods.
• Maintain and analyze program databases to identify trends and support recommendations.
• Oversee preparation and submission of system change requests and coordinate with Government lead.
• Support user acceptance testing for program-related systems and recommend improvements.
• Develop and maintain business process maps and DoD user documentation.
• Establish procedures for recurring reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with Government personnel and external stakeholders on data quality and reporting requirements.
• Review analytical work for accuracy and relevance.
• Provide guidance to data analysts and ensure timely delivery.

Summary:

The Supervisory Data Analyst will provide oversight of data quality, analytical reporting, operational research, statistical analysis, databases, recurring and ad hoc reporting, and recommendations based on program data. Provide analysis of large datasets from multiple sources, complex statistical reporting, DES/SCAADL performance analysis, and data-quality monitoring.

Personnel are assigned in support of DHHQ in Falls Church, VA, but may work from the contractor facility or remotely when authorized.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Supervise and coordinate data analysis, reporting, and data quality activities supporting DES and SCAADL programs.
• Analyze large datasets from multiple sources using approved data analysis and statistical software to identify trends, performance measures, data quality issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop, refine, and maintain recurring weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports for government stakeholders.
• Analyze DES and SCAADL performance data, including population changes, timeliness, process outcomes, quality measures, and other program metrics, and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Develop complex statistical and mathematical charts, tables, graphs, and other data visualizations appropriate to the data and reporting requirements.
• Monitor data quality across program-related systems, including the VA VTA or successor system, identify data errors, track corrective actions, and recommend methods to prevent recurring data issues.
• Maintain and analyze SCAADL program databases and historical enrollment and participation data to identify trends and support program and policy recommendations.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of system change requests and monitor their completion in coordination with the appropriate Government lead.
• Support user acceptance testing for VTA and other program-related systems and recommend improvements to system capabilities, performance, and structure.
• Develop and maintain business process maps documenting relevant actions, inputs, outputs, decision points, and process variations.
• Develop and maintain VTA Guidebooks and other user documentation to support DoD users and reflect current business and technical processes.
• Establish and maintain procedures for recurring reports and analytical processes to promote consistency, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Coordinate with Government personnel, Military Departments, VA, DHA, and other external stakeholders regarding data quality, reporting requirements, system improvements, and business processes.
• Review analytical work and reporting products for accuracy, completeness, relevance, and compliance with established requirements.
• Provide guidance and oversight to data analysts or other assigned staff and ensure work is completed according to established priorities, timelines, and quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and analytical/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, R, Python, or similar platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, information systems, computer science, business analytics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, statistical analysis, or related work.
• 3+ years of experience leading, supervising, or overseeing analysts/personnel
• Experience analyzing large datasets from multiple sources.
• Experience developing recurring and ad hoc analytical reports for senior stakeholders.
• Experience with data-quality monitoring, performance metrics, and process improvement.
• Tier 1/non-sensitive, with the applicable DHA background investigation and suitability requirements.

Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):

• DoD, DHA, federal healthcare, or military personnel program experience preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $135,000.00 annually.
