Job summary

Walmart is seeking a qualified Logistics Manager in Davenport, FL to drive QA compliance, inventory integrity and operational improvements. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1 year experience in operations/logistics environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload and participating in hiring and promotion.
• 1 year experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates.
• 3 years experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments / areas.
• 1 year experience as a Walmart Logistics Operations Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates for multiple departments / areas

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA guidelines, procedures and programs and improve building efficiencies.
• Ensure inventory integrity and manage corrective actions, damages, exposures, and cycle counts.
• Manage systems operations including hardware/software maintenance and vendor coordination.
• Lead, develop and coach associates and leaders; participate in hiring, promotion and evaluations.
• Drive data-informed decisions through forecasting, budgeting and cost control.
• Foster a culture of integrity, safety and customer focus across the facility.
