PPG Industries, Inc in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality for the site, oversee site quality performance, and act as the quality representative for the business unit. You will work onsite in Greensboro, NC and report to the Plant Manager.

You will drive data-driven quality improvements, deploy strategic initiatives, coordinate cross-site quality programs, and coach the quality team to ensure compliance with ISO 9001/IATF standards and advanced quality planning

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
5+ years of quality management experience, preferably in automotive industry.
3+ years of people management or supervisory experience.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF standards and core quality tools.

Responsabilités

Lead site quality performance and act as quality representative for the business unit.
Ensure consistent measurement and reporting quality performance for the site and the business (internal KPI & customer scorecards).
Deploy strategic quality initiatives with SBU alignment.
Improve standardization and lead cross-site problem solving & quality programs.
Ensure customer quality communications are timely, in place, and upheld.
Promote data-driven quality improvement programs to improve yield/productivity and reduce non-conformance.
