Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an engineering professional to develop and manage data-driven, risk-based process controls across electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering disciplines. This role focuses on supplier and factory quality, cost, service, and risk within manufacturing operations.

You will enforce SOPs, manage audits and metrics, supervise team activities, and drive continuous improvement through training and program implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of work experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage SOPs, reporting, metrics, and audit controls to support data-driven risk and performance criteria for suppliers, factories, and products.
• Develop and manage functional responsibilities of service providers and foreign sourcing offices; assess, test and inspect factories and products.
• Identify and implement best practices based on industry knowledge.
• Develop and deliver training internally and externally.
• Define technical requirements for factory and product specifications.
• Review and resolve issues with suppliers, factories, service providers, merchandising, store operations, distribution, safety, and other supply chain components.
