Job summary

City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to join our Baltimore team for a full-time second-shift role (5pm–1am). You will oversee contractor performance, ensure compliance with contract standards, and drive process improvements across multiple counties.

The role requires 2–3 years of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with independent contractors while adhering to City Wide policies and client expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services.
• 2-3 years prior experience in management; coaching, motivating, developing other individuals.
• Building, facilities, janitorial or similar industry experience a plus.
• Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be innovative and strive for continuous process improvement.
• Bilingual capability would be a plus.
• This role is Monday-Friday, 5pm-1am with travel across Baltimore metro counties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain productive relationships with Independent Contractors by communicating client priorities and solving problems.
• Review scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account to retain existing business and gain new business.
• Communicate with your Manager daily for issues needing immediate attention, including nightly recap.
• Make recommendations for IC work assignments, manage to client standards and company guidelines.
• Manage inspections, customer complaints or requests, new account starts-restarts.
• Execute City Wide's New-Start Policy, Customer Compliant Policy, Four Star Policy, and other policies.
• Ensure compliance by ICs with authorized tools and equipment and their proper use.

We are seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to join our City Wide team who is responsible for assisting with management of contract compliance for building maintenance services, as well as supporting the relationship between City Wide and our Independent Contractors who will deliver on work expectations.

The physical demands are representative of requirements that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Constant sitting, bending, standing, and walking. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
