Job summary

Fives Giddings & Lewis in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking a Manager – Quality Assurance to lead the QA program across manufacturing operations. You will plan, coordinate, and improve quality systems, supervise staff, and drive supplier quality, process control, and nonconformance resolution.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field, 6–10 years of manufacturing QA experience, ISO 9001/14001 expertise, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing or related field.
• 6–10 years of related experience in manufacturing QA.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of the quality program.
• Supervise and train staff; develop quality training and communication.
• Manage supplier development, supplier quality metrics, and supplier evaluations.
• Lead nonconformance handling, corrective actions, and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate internal audits and liaison with external auditors.
• Maintain document control systems and QMS procedures.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and drive continuous quality improvements.
• Support management reviews and report QMS effectiveness.
• Develop metrics to measure quality process performance.
