Job summary

Steele Solutions in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Quality Engineer to coordinate production quality plans and ensure customer compliance. You will work under the Quality Systems, Compliance and CI Manager to monitor processes and support QA across design, production, and maintenance teams.

Key duties include DFMA and FMEA leadership, internal and supplier audits, and implementing QA sampling systems. A bachelor’s in engineering and 2+ years QA experience are required; familiarity with QMS software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• At least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• ASQ – CQT or CQPA preferred.
• Knowledge of AISC standard quality systems preferred.
• Knowledge of AWS Welding Code helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor production/process quality and end product quality.
• Develop and work within QMS software and quality plans.
• Lead DFMA events and FMEA processes.
• Conduct internal and external vendor audits.
• Respond to customer and vendor queries on quality issues.
