Job summary

General Motors Company in Lansing Delta Assembly is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager responsible for oversight of quality systems and processes. You will collaborate with quality operations, engineering, assembly, and cross‑functional teams to drive compliance, audits, and continuous improvement at the plant.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic problem solving, and strong communication to ensure quality expectations are met and sustainability goals are achieved at the Lansing site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of quality processes and systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders.
• Demonstrated problem solving and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Drive compliance with Quality Manual, BIQ and PQRS from a quality perspective.
• Lead audits and ISO activities as plant QR lead and ISO lead for the site.
• Manage Trace Scorecard, GEPICS trace, and GRA processes.
• Support and lead GCA/GCA-related meetings and 5F activities.
• Coach problem solving and champion cost reduction opportunities for quality.
