Job summary

IAC Group is seeking a Quality Manager in Michigan to ensure products and services meet standards and customer expectations. You will oversee quality processes, review specifications, and monitor supplier compliance while guiding inspectors and staff.

With 2+ years in a similar role, you will apply data analysis, statistical methods, and strong math skills to drive continuous improvement. A BA/BS in business administration and MS Office proficiency are required; ISO 9000 certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a Quality Manager or similar role.
• Significant experience with quality control procedures and relevant legal standards.
• Significant experience with data analysis and statistical methods.
• Excellent math skills with close attention to detail.
• Responsible and conscientious with a results-driven approach.
• Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• BSc or BA degree in business administration or related field; ISO 9000 certification is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and follow customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
• Review and update specifications for products or processes.
• Establish standards for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance.
• Oversee the compliance with health and safety guidelines and legal obligations.
• Monitor the work of inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback.
• Monitor product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
• Check final output and compare properties to requirements.
• Make decisions about completed products, approving or rejecting them.
• Review and update project documentation and perform statistical analysis.
• Collect feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met.
• Prepare detailed reports and present them to executives.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and develop new procedures.
