Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Oak Creek, Wisconsin seeks a proactive Quality Manager to own the quality program on the shop floor. You will lead audits, enforce ISO/AS standards, and ensure on-time, compliant shipments while driving corrective actions.

You’ll manage a team of quality technicians, coordinate with vendors and production, and report to senior leadership with clear action plans. A college degree and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in manufacturing operations, ideally in welding, machining, heat treating, blasting, or painting.

Quality Manager

What you'll do

• Own and enforce the quality program, and keep policies current as standards and the business evolve
• Lead internal and external audits, including AISC and ISO
• Hold final authority on product shipment and compliance with regulatory and company standards
• Resolve quality issues with vendors, customers, and production teams, and coordinate vendor inspections
• Audit quality checklists and spot-check work on the floor for conformance
• Review customer complaints and satisfaction trends, lead failure analysis and corrective action
• Report findings to senior leadership with corrective action plans and follow-through
• Serve as Management Representative, with direct access to top management on quality issues

What you'll lead

A Quality Department of Quality Technicians and CWIs (Certified Weld Inspectors), with indirect responsibility across operations.

What you bring

• 5-10 years in manufacturing operations, ideally in one of more of these areas: welding, machining, heat treating, blasting, or painting
• Proven track record leading high-performing quality teams and delivering measurable results
• Experience running audits and managing corrective action to completion
• College degree
• Certifications that set you apart: ISO 9001 or AS9100 auditor, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Change Management, Project Management
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office
• A floor-first style: this role is active all day on the shop floor
