Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead compliance efforts and drive quality across operations for individuals supported. The role requires overseeing QA reviews, reporting, and improvement planning in a complex, regulated residential services environment.

The position emphasizes strong communication, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to coordinate corrective actions with regional leadership. Travel up to a moderate level may be required in designated service sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field with minimum 2 years’ experience with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license with current automobile insurance.
• Knowledge of quality assurance systems, quality control and performance monitoring in residential services is preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, confidential environment and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors systems to ensure quality of service delivery and compliance with requirements.
• Conducts site reviews and record reviews, documenting findings thoroughly and timely.
• Prepares detailed reports of QA findings related to operational reviews.
• Acts as contact for external regulatory reviews when applicable.
• Maintains state/federal survey documentation and coordinates corrective actions.
• Supports development and implementation of Quality Improvement Plans.
• Leads internal quality practices and prioritizes quality while reducing risk.
• Provides training and support to staff on quality initiatives.
• Reviews survey data to identify trends and suggest improvements.
• Oversees incident reporting and mortality review processes; chairs Quality & Safety Committee.
