Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor delivering strategic IT services for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment.

The role focuses on QA and QC of IT systems, verification and validation, software testing, and metrics. Ideal candidates will lead QA plans, formal/informal reviews, and sustain quality across the lifecycle.

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Quality Assurance Manager- Senior to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Experience in quality assurance and quality control of IT Systems. Experience in verification and validation, software testing and integration, and software metrics, and their application to software quality assessment. Must be capable of maintaining and establishing a process for evaluating software and associated documentation. Must be able to determine the resources required for information technology quality control. Must be able to maintain the level of quality throughout the software lifecycle. Develop software quality assurance plans. Conducts formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the development lifecycle. Applies subject matter knowledge to high level analysis, design, development, modeling, simulation, integration, installation, documentation and implementation. Resolves problems, which require an intimate knowledge of the related technical subject matter. Apply principles and methods of the subject matter to specialized solutions. Includes but not limited to, environmental, scientific, maintenance and repair processes, and logistical support activities.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)

• Knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization, DevSecOps, and modern software development practices.
• Ability to architect, implement, and oversee CI/CD pipelines, automated software development toolchains, and monitoring solutions across diverse technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenStack, and containerization platforms such as Docker and OpenShift.
• Ability to modernize and refactor monolithic applications into secure, scalable microservices architectures using hardened containers.
• Experience leading DevOps methodologies, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and SAFe Agile practices within large-scale, product-centric environments.
• Ability to guide development teams in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and sustaining secure software solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of configuration management, infrastructure automation, and scripting technologies, including Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt, and related tools.
• Ability to engineer complex technology implementations and integrate commercial, open-source, cloud, and enterprise technologies to support scalable software delivery.

Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications

• Five (5) years of relevant experience
• Relevant certification from nationally recognized technical authority.
• 8570 Baseline IAT Level II

• Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking (including stairs) throughout offices and between buildings. May require use of public transportation, personal or Government vehicle to drive to local and/or remote office locations.
