TEKSOUTH CORPORATION, based at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina, seeks a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA program, ensuring compliance with Air Force Instructions and DoD financial management requirements.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET security clearance required.
• 2-3 years of DoD FM Quality Assurance experience.
• 1-2 years of Air Force-specific DoD FM Quality Assurance experience.

Position Summary

Teksouth is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to support our client at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina. This role is responsible for managing and executing the Quality Assurance Program, ensuring compliance with applicable Air Force instructions, Department of Defense financial management requirements, and established organizational procedures.

The QA Manager evaluates program effectiveness, identifies performance trends and areas for improvement, oversees corrective actions, and promotes accountability through independent reviews, self-inspections, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate brings hands-on DoD financial management quality assurance experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Executes the Quality Assurance Program in accordance with Air Force Instructions


• Identifies performance indicators to be assessed, gathers data, conducts trend analysis, and facilitates discussion with stakeholders.


• Maintains Discrepancy Tracking and ensures that all corrective actions address root cause


• Performs various independent reviews identifying any existing problems, root causes, and makes recommendations to correct.


• Hosts monthly QA meetings as a means to focus on current efforts and discuss the health of the organization.


• Prepares, publishes, and distributes written meeting minutes


• Oversees the Self-inspection program, ensuring checklists are current and applicable; and that responses adequately reflect the actual health of each area.


• Manages the Crossfeed Program. Takes applicable action and/or distribution on various reports and bulletins received from higher echelons/headquarters.


• Responsible for fraud awareness education, using several methods throughout the year in raising and maintaining fraud awareness.


• Follows up on independent validation of document reviews initiated by the Financial Services Officer (FSO), to ensure only authorized entitlement and payments are made in the areas of Military Pay, Civilian Pay and Travel Pay.


• Responsible for creating the Quality Assurance Plan and providing access to the Quality Assurance handbook

Qualifications
