Qualifications

Job description

We are actively recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager for our Fleet & Family Support Program Proposal. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on an innovative project, including programs such as Counseling, Advocacy and Prevention, Suicide Prevention, Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR), and the Integrated Primary Prevention (IPP) Program. These programs directly support mission readiness by preparing service members and their families for the physical, emotional, interpersonal, and logistical demands of military life.

This position is contingent on the award of the FFSP contract. We are currently in the proposal phase. If you are interested in learning more, please apply.

The QA Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality and effectiveness of various programs and services offered by the FFSP. Responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of quality assurance processes, monitoring program performance, and identifying areas for improvement.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business administration, quality management, or a related discipline.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen to meet federal government contract requirements.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in quality assurance and quality management, preferably within the military or government.
  • Certification in Six Sigma, CQA, CMQ/OE, CQIA, or TQM is required.
  • Experience in a government contracting setting.
  • Experience managing quality assurance operations in medical, human services, or other person-focused services is preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and process improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to implement QA program policies, track issues, and ensure mitigation, improvement, and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with stakeholders.
  • Experience with data manipulation and analysis technologies such as Alteryx, Hadoop, MongoDB, Cloud Services, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle.
  • Experience conducting multiphase data analysis related to compliance, finance, and risk issues.
  • Experience with process automation and insight generation through machine learning, optical character recognition, and process mining.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with Navy standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze program performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Update quality assurance protocols accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate quality issues.
  • Develop analytics solutions to detect, monitor, and predict financial risks.
  • Evaluate business processes, compliance, and risk issues using data and technology to provide insights.
  • Supervise and coach teams to improve business outcomes and accelerate financial results.
Working Conditions/Physical Effort:

Work is primarily performed in an office setting. The role may require some overnight travel, public speaking, evening, and weekend work. Regular computer use is expected. Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, and hearing. The employee must occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
