Job summary

Thomas Foods International, USA is seeking a QA Manager to lead the Quality Assurance team, drive food safety compliance, and partner with plant leadership to elevate product quality. You will manage HACCP plans, supplier risk assessments, and regulatory audits with a focus on continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, 5+ years in food safety/quality, and strong SQF/HACCP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in food safety/quality management with protein products.
• Proven leadership over 2 shifts, 5–7 days/week.
• Strong knowledge of SQF, HACCP and FDA/USDA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
• Manage HACCP plans, hazard analyses, and supplier risk assessments.
• Lead SQF systems development and audits.
• Coordinate internal and external regulatory audits (SQF, Halal, Organic).
• Perform recalls, trend analysis, and corrective actions.
• Develop training programs and oversee inspections.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and cross‑functional teams.
