Job summary

ACS Manufacturing LLC is seeking a QA Manager to lead the site Quality Assurance function and maintain the effective execution and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in Utah.

Reporting to the Corporate Director of Quality, this role collaborates with production and other departments to ensure products, processes, inspections, and records meet customer, internal, and ISO 9001 requirements, while guiding QA staff and driving corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering, science, technology, manufacturing, business, or related field.
• At least three years of quality assurance or quality control experience.
• At least two years of supervisory or management experience.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements, quality-management systems, inspection methods, and corrective action practices.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, engineering drawings, specifications, acceptance criteria, and customer requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing production, customer, and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Audit and ensure site compliance with the corporate QMS and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Maintain and improve quality procedures, standards, specifications, work instructions, forms, and records.
• Lead QA Inspector team and conduct performance evaluations.
• Develop and deliver training on QA functions and continuous improvement methods.
• Investigate quality concerns and coordinate corrective actions with departments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan customer job launches and quality controls.
