Job summary

ACS Manufacturing, LLC seeks a QA Manager to lead site Quality Assurance and sustain the QMS. The role reports to Corporate Director of Quality and works across departments to ensure products, processes, inspections, and records meet customer, internal, regulatory, and ISO 9001 requirements.

You will provide day-to-day leadership to QA personnel, support production and customer requirements, and drive timely investigation and resolution of quality concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering, science, technology, manufacturing, business, or a related field.
• At least three years of quality assurance or quality control experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• At least two years of supervisory or management experience.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements, quality-management systems, inspection methods, and corrective action practices.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, engineering drawings, specifications, acceptance criteria, and customer requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing production, customer, and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA team and manage QA personnel performance.
• Ensure site QMS conforms to ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and improve quality procedures, records, and calibration programs.
• Oversee inspections and nonconforming material processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive corrective actions.
• Support product certifications such as UL, Intertek.
• Coordinate training on QA standards and continuous improvement.
• Interface with customers on quality issues.
