Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager based in Aurora, CO to lead quality programs across the facility and ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, and GMP. You will drive customer and regulatory requirements, manage QA staff, and support product development to safeguard safety and quality of all desserts.

The role offers a competitive $105,000–$120,000 salary with benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid vacation and holidays, and retirement contributions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, biochemistry or related field.
• Five+ years' experience managing a quality team and implementing QA strategies.
• Experience with auditing, HACCP, GFSI, AIB, SPC and other quality programs.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and documentation.
• PCQI Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality assurance policies for facility programs and standardization.
• Lead QA operations to meet customer, company, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage QA staff activities, schedule and performance.
• Oversee SOPs, documents, process control, QMS, and training systems.
• Support new product development to ensure quality and shelf life.
• Investigate and address consumer and customer complaints.
• Ensure products meet testing and manufacturing specs and labeling.
