Job summary

Dessert Holdings Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in Aurora, CO to oversee the safe, efficient production of high-quality desserts.

You will lead up to 80 staff per shift, ensure adherence to GMP, SQF and HACCP requirements, and drive continuous improvement in waste reduction and record-keeping. The role requires flexible hours (2pm-12am or 10pm-8am, M-F with rotating weekends) and a compensation range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits including

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices.
• Good communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Able to stay focused in a loud working environment
• Flexible schedule with possible weekend overtime

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct up to 80 people per shift, manage rotations, training, and breaks to ensure safety and quality.
• Train and coach production line employees to meet safety and quality standards.
• Understand operation of all equipment in the assigned area.
• Coordinate production startup, shutdown and changeovers.
• Minimize overtime unless approved by a Production Manager.
• Report and track waste and identify efficiencies while meeting goals
• Maintain production records and fill production reports daily.
• Inspect and sign off on production labels when necessary
• Promote positive work ethic and maintain housekeeping in the production area
• Supervise GMP-compliant operations per policy and procedure
• Ensure all work complies with specifications and requirements
• Enforce dress code and personal hygiene standards
• Partner with Production Manager to schedule and conduct shift meetings
