Job summary

Top Echelon Software LLC in the Silver Spring area seeks a Quality Assurance Supervisor for a confidential beverage manufacturer. The role leads quality personnel in the laboratory and on the production floor, ensuring products meet established quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements.

You’ll coach your team, review laboratory results, support audits, and partner with plant departments to improve processes and maintain consistent product quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or comparable college or technical education in biology/chemistry/food science/health sciences or related field.
• 1–3 years relevant work experience in manufacturing/QA.
• Familiarity with lab methods and sanitation in beverage production.
• Knowledge of regulatory, food safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA staff in lab and production floor, set expectations for quality, safety, and performance.
• Coach team through training and feedback to improve skills and outcomes.
• Partner with Production and other departments to resolve quality concerns and support food safety practices.
• Oversee QA programs, documentation, training, and internal audits.
• Maintain compliance with product specs, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
• Review lab data for accuracy, investigate anomalies, and identify corrective actions.
• Recommend process improvements based on test results and quality metrics.
• Prepare for and assist with audits and certifications.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance quality and customer satisfaction.
