Actalent in Nicholasville, KY, seeks a Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA and QC within a manufacturing operation. You will manage the QMS, drive continuous improvement, and ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of quality.

You will coordinate internal, supplier, and customer audits, lead CAPA programs, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to reduce defects and boost performance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 5 years of progressive quality management experience in a manufacturing.
• Experience leading quality teams and continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and auditing practices.
• Hands-on root cause analysis skills (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, FTA).
• Experience developing, tracking, and closing CAPA.
• Supplier quality management and PPAP experience.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma familiarity.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with quality reporting and ERP usage.

Aufgaben

• Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for compliance.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality standards, procedures, and work instructions.
• Analyze quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead internal, supplier, and customer audits and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate CAPA programs with proper documentation and closure.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service.
