Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in Dalton, GA is seeking a seasoned QA leader to oversee finished goods evaluation, raw material specs, blown film testing, and product recordkeeping. You will direct the local quality control team to ensure customer specifications are met and SOPs are followed.

Responsibilities include coordinating with sales, manufacturing and customers to resolve issues and finalize disposition of orders, investigating complaints, and maintaining manufacturing records.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree equivalent and 6+ years in QA/related field.
• Familiar with QC concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team and apply extensive experience to meet goals.
• Experience with ISO 9001/ANSI/ASQC Q9001-2008 standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and leads local quality control to meet customer specs and applications.
• Applies QA systems and documents activities and manufacturing records.
• Investigates complaints and represents location on behalf of the plant.
• Ensures timely testing and training in latest procedures aligned with standards.
