Job summary

Amcor is seeking a senior quality professional to lead the finished goods evaluation, raw material specs, blown film testing, and product recordkeeping at our Dalton, GA facility. You will direct the QA team to meet customer specifications, document all activities, and resolve complaints in collaboration with sales and manufacturing.

The role emphasizes adherence to ISO 9001 and ANSI/ASQC standards, maintaining traceability, and driving continuous improvement in quality systems and procedures

Qualifications

• Specialized training equivalent to a four year degree and 6+ years of experience in the field or related area.
• Familiar with a variety of QC concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Leads and directs the work of others; strong problem solving and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Directs and leads local quality control efforts to ensure compliance with customer specifications and applications.
• Applies QA systems, procedures, and practices to document activities and maintain manufacturing recordkeeping.
• Investigates complaints and represents location on behalf of plant; ensures timely testing and training in latest procedures.
• Ensures compliance with ANSI/ASQC Q9001-2008 and ISO 9001 requirements; maintains product tracing and records.
