Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Quality Control Lead to direct and supervise the finished goods evaluation, raw material specs, blown film testing, and product recordkeeping in our Dalton facility.

The role ensures adherence to customer specifications, SOPs, and traceability, while coordinating with sales, manufacturing, and customers to resolve issues and determine final disposition of orders and products.

Qualifications

• Specialized training equivalent to a four‑year degree with 6+ years in QC.
• Familiar with QC concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to lead and direct the work of others.

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead local quality control efforts to ensure compliance with customer specifications and applications.
• Apply QA systems, procedures, and practices to document all activities and maintain manufacturing recordkeeping activities.
• Investigate complaints and represent the location on behalf of the plant.
• Ensure timely testing is completed and the department is trained in the latest procedures in conjunction with customer specifications and corporate/industry standards.
