Job summary

KBR seeks a Quality Manager for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program to manage the Quality Management Support System, ensuring compliance with customer standards, and driving corrective actions through audits. The role maintains ISO 9001:2015 and leads internal audits and improvements to delivery quality.

You will mentor quality personnel, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support process improvements to sustain on-time, defect-free services for USMC programs.

Qualifications

• Must pass a U.S. Government background check and obtain a Secret Security clearance; U.S. citizen required.
• Requires a BA/BS degree in a scientific field or engineering; equivalent experience considered.
• At least 8 years in quality assurance with 6 years in a management role and 4 years supervisory experience.
• Deep knowledge of Marine Corps policies and logistics processes.
• Must have CMQ/OE certification within 1 year of hire and experience with Lean/Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed non-conformance reports and corrective actions for senior management.
• Lead quality-improvement initiatives to enhance processes and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate quality efforts across logistics management and maintenance programs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to address issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ensure certifications remain active.
• Develop internal audit schedules aligned with ISO 9001:2015; mentor quality staff.
