Job summary

Qualifications

• Four years' engineering or science degree or technical college degree plus two years' experience in related construction field.
• Must be legally authorized to work without requiring sponsorship for employment to begin or continue employment with our company.
• Must be able to clearly communicate the status of quality on a project.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills; ability to research and convey detailed/technical matters to field personnel.
• Ability to work in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint; quick to learn other software applications.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain effective communications with district management, project teams, engineers and clients.
• Examine field conditions, identify problems, and implement corrective actions to reduce costs.
• Identify safety hazards and take corrective actions to minimize risk.
• Maintain knowledge of the Kiewit/TIC Quality Management System and promote standardization.
• Manage Welding Procedure Specification logs and files for assigned districts.
• Assist in conducting project quality audits and reports.
