Job summary

Concrete Strategies is seeking a highly motivated quality professional to lead regional project quality compliance across the United States. You will review contracts and specifications, perform pre-construction reviews with teams and suppliers, and ensure safety and quality on site.

The role requires 5+ years in concrete construction, deep knowledge of codes (ACI/PCI/TCA), and strong leadership. You will drive problem solving, develop solutions, and coordinate with GC/Owner and CSI operations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with concrete construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction management, Engineering or other construction related field recommended.
• Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required
• Strong technical knowledge of concrete production, testing and placement practices.
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes (ACI, PCI, TCA)
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
• Experience leading successful project teams, including development of employee and maintaining relationships with external entities
• Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
• Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding.

Responsibilities

• Contract/Scope/Specification review and interpretation
• Pre-construction specification review
• Pre-construction mix design review in conjunction with Corporate Quality Director, Materials specialists and suppliers
• Project safety compliance
• Regional project quality compliance
• Periodic project visits and quality compliance reviews
• Work with project teams to develop solutions to quality issues
• Coordination with GC/Owner when necessary
• Coordination with CSI Operations manager regarding manpower/resources
• Support and manage project quality staff within assigned region
