Job summary

Mid-States Concrete Industries is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to direct day-to-day QA/QC activities across the plant, ensuring compliance with engineering specs and customer requirements. This role leads QC technicians and batch plant staff, driving continuous improvement and adherence to the QMS.

Qualifications

• > High school diploma or GED; preferred technical degree or certifications in quality.
• > Associate degree or higher in a related field with manufacturing QA/QC exposure.
• > Experience with concrete testing and product inspections is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct all daily quality control activities in the plant.
• Coordinate quality priorities with Production and communicate quality concerns.
• Lead QC Technicians and Batch Plant personnel and ensure QMS is followed.
• Oversee inspections and testing: fresh concrete, compressive strength, air content, slump/flow, unit weight.
