Job description

Quality Assurance Technician - Phoenix, AZ.

The Quality Assurance Technician will perform Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) inspection of finished product for defects, leaks, and particles.

1. Perform batch record review to ensure compliance with Drug Master File (DMF) and associated Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
2. Work with Lead to investigate product/procedure non-conformances, process deviations, and product complaints, and assist with formulating appropriate corrective actions and recommendations for product dispositions.
3. Oversee site-wide quality compliance according to our client’s standards.
4. Review Operating Procedures (SOPs) & specifications, quality review of documents, label control, and assist with release activities.
5. Perform AQL product inspection for defects, leaks, and particulates.
6. Perform document review of compounding activities such as cleaning records, destruction logs, incoming raw material forms, line clearance forms, and inventory sheets, ensuring documents are filed appropriately.
7. Perform incoming raw material sampling, inspection, and release for Operations after verifying that all raw materials meet specifications.
8. Perform inspection and release of incoming pre-printed labels.
9. Inspect and approve pre-printed labels and client-specific printed labels for batch production labeling.
10. Assist with equipment calibration program and maintenance record files.
11. Assist with environmental monitoring program.
12. Assist in the completion of product investigations and CAPAs for compounded preparations of sterile products.

Education: Associates’ or Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field.
