Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. seeks a qualified quality control technician to collect samples and perform analytical testing on raw ingredients, packaging and finished dairy products. The role requires accurate data entry, strict adherence to QA procedures, and effective communication of out-of-spec results.

Responsibilities include maintaining lab records, calibrating equipment, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Food/Dairy Science preferred.
• Experience with food quality specs, process control monitoring, or release documentation is preferred.
• Strong math, attention to detail, and ability to follow protocols.

Responsibilities

• Collects samples and performs physical analytical sampling and testing of raw ingredients, packaging materials and finished dairy products.
• Identify and communicate out-of-spec results and follow notification protocols.
• Maintain QC records and complete testing documents accurately.
• Calibrate and maintain lab testing equipment and prepare stock solutions.
