Job summary

OneSource Distributors, part of the Sonepar family, is hiring for a warehouse quality/receiving role in Oceanside, CA. The position focuses on incoming receipt, inspection, and accurate record-keeping using our computer system, with daily interactions across teams and suppliers.

You will read work orders, measure parts, quarantine non-conforming items, and help maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Identify inspection errors.
• Able to multitask and work independently.
• Adapt to an everchanging work environment.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming receiving and inspections.
• Use computer system to create/view records of receipt/inspection.
• Convey material from receiving to storage or other designated areas.
• Scan, sort and place material by location.
• Read work orders and system notes for items to be received/put away.
• Create discrepant material reports and enter nonconformance data.
• Quarantine non-conforming materials and report discrepancies.
• Measure part dimensions with hand tools.
• Communicate inspection results to internal groups and suppliers.
• Perform cycle counts and verify stock quantities.
