Job summary

OneSource Distributors in Oceanside, CA, is hiring for a receiving and inspection role. The position runs 5:00am–1:30pm, with a pay range of $21.00–$23.00 per hour. You will conduct inspections, move materials, and maintain accurate records in our warehouse environment.

The role requires meticulous measurement, interpretation of drawings, and strong communication with internal teams and suppliers. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities within the Sonepar group.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical abilities to perform calculations across units.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Ability to identify inspection errors accurately and efficiently.
• Comfort with multitasking in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming receiving and inspections.
• Use computer system to create and view records of receipt/inspection.
• Move materials from receiving to storage or designated areas.
• Place materials on racks according to location.
• Read work orders and system notes for material handling.
• Create discrepant material reports and enter nonconformance data.
• Quarantine non-conforming materials and report discrepancies.
• Use hand tools to measure part dimensions per specs.
• Communicate inspection results to internal teams and external suppliers.
• Complete cycle counts and verify stock quantities.
