Job summary

OneSource Distributors, LLC in Oceanside, CA is seeking a warehouse inspector to perform receiving inspections, document records, and move materials to storage areas. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to communicate results to internal teams and suppliers.

Work hours are 5:00am - 1:30pm with hourly pay between $21.00 and $23.00. Benefits include healthcare, PTO, 401(k), and growth opportunities within the Sonepar group.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including fractions and decimals.
• Able to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Must be able to identify/recognize inspection errors.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Ability to adapt to an everchanging work environment.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Strong computer skills, proficient in MS Word, MS Excel software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming receiving and receiving inspections.
• Utilize a computer system to create and view comprehensive records of receipt/inspection.
• Convey material and products from receiving area to storage or other designated areas.
• Scan, sort and place material on racks, shelves and/or bins according to predetermined warehouse location.
• Read work orders and computer system notes for material to be received, moved, inspected, or put away.
• Create discrepant material reports / entering nonconformance data into a computer system.
• Quarantine non-conforming materials as required, and report on discrepancies.
• Utilize hand tools necessary to measure part dimensions and features to specifications.
• Communication of inspection results to various internal groups and external suppliers.
• Complete cycle counts and verify quantities of stock as needed.
