Vance Airscoop is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to support daily QA activities on the production floor, ensuring products meet company, customer, and regulatory standards. The role involves inspecting materials, articles, coatings, and testing processes to uphold quality across assembly lines.

Qualified candidates will have 1–2 years QA experience, the ability to read technical drawings, and proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Record keeping skills with computer literacy (Microsoft).
• Ability to use measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers).
• Able to read technical drawings.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.
• Must have 1-2 years QA experience.

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance Inspector
$19.00 - $22.00/hour, DOE

JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for supporting daily quality assurance activities on the production floor to ensure all products meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform incoming material inspections


2. Perform first article inspections (from internal and external sources)


3. Perform coating inspections


4. Monitor valve and hydrant assembly lines for production quality


5. Monitor valve and hydrant testing for production quality


6. Monitor coating testing and production quality


7. Perform internal audits and corrective actions


8. Calibration of tools and test equipment

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work on special projects assigned and prioritized by the company

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

1. Must have a high attention to detail and be able to meet deadlines
