Job summary

Hunting in Baytown, TX is seeking a quality inspector to ensure gauges are within calibration dates and set up per licensee specifications. The role includes First Article, In-Process, and 100%-Dimensional inspections as required, with verification by audit or direct gauging of the product.

You will complete receiving and final product inspections, ensuring proper stamping and thorough documentation. Daily logs and rejection reports are to be prepared and submitted as required.

Qualifications

• Experience with gauges and dimensional inspection processes.
• Ability to perform First Article inspections and in-process inspections.
• Proficiency in documenting inspection results and maintaining log sheets.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• 2.1 Ensure that gauges at machine are functioning properly and inside calibration dates.
• 2.2 Set up gauges in accordance with licensee specification and requirements.
• 2.3 Verify First Article inspections including molds.
• 2.4 Perform In-Process inspection per the licensee and customer specifications
• 2.5 Perform 100%-Dimensional Inspection per the customer specifications when required.
• 2.6 Verify product through either auditing or physically gauging/inspecting at all operations.
• 2.7 Complete receiving inspections on incoming products.
• 2.8 Conduct final product inspection including thorough verification of all supporting documentation and required stamping and stenciling.
• 2.9 Complete log sheets and daily reject reports as required. Turn in reports to gauge lab daily.
