Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a QA Inspector to ensure products from vendor partners meet quality standards and the company's Compliance Manual. You will perform app-based inspections, monitor returns to identify root causes, and collaborate with QA on improvements and packaging practices.

This role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Proven successful track record of outstanding customer service abilities.
• Proven successful track record of self-management and multi-tasking.
• ADA awareness must be considered in daily duties.
• Ability to lift and maneuver items up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete inspections of samples and current merchandise using app-based system providing detailed descriptions of packaging, workmanship and compliance.
• Serve as front line inspector by monitoring returning merchandise to determine root cause of defects (handling, manufacture, and packaging).
• Identify problems or issues in a timely manner with equipment, materials, process or personnel and report information to QA Group.
• Assist in the receiving, review and shipments of sample and production merchandise.
• Maintain and improve product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods.
• Re-pack and protect merchandise following reviews and inspections.

SummaryThe Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector ensures that products manufactured by vendor partners meet industry standards and the standards of Bob’s Discount Furniture’s Compliance Manual.
