Bob’s Discount Furniture is seeking an Assembly Material Handler to perform final inspection of chairs and ensure proper packaging for storage and picking. The role supports materials flow by maintaining boxed inventory and operating light machinery to move items within the warehouse.

The position requires attention to quality, safety, and the ability to read and follow detailed instructions; weekend availability is expected, and compensation starts at $17.00–$19.00 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to identify quality issues with chairs.
• Ability to operate light machinery (Pallet Rider, Forklift).
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Job TitleAssembly Material HandlerJob OverviewThe primary functions of the Assembly Material Handler are to perform a final inspection on built chairs, while also ensuring that they are properly packaged in order to be put away for picking. The Assembly Material Handler will also maintain a steady supply of assembled boxes in order to be able to match the output of the builders, and will operate light machinery to assist with the movement of materials throughout the department.
