Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a Repair Technician to open, inspect, repair, and rewrap products from the Shipping dock. You will repair items from Returns or the DC and determine disposition in the Repair Shop.

Responsibilities include performing upholstery and case goods repairs, inspecting for defects, coordinating with Shipping to replace damaged goods, reporting QC issues, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. This role requires attention to detail and hands-on repair skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of Repair Experience
• Strong knowledge of Case Goods repair and Upholstery repair
• Ability to safely use hand tools and read instructions

Job TitleRepair TechnicianJob OverviewThe primary function of the Repair Technician is to open, inspect, deluxe, and rewrap product for special inspections on the Shipping dock. The Repair Technician will repair any pieces brought from the Shipping department that were found to be damaged during the loading process. The Repair Technician is stationed at the Repair Shop to open and inspect all product brought to this area from Returns or within the DC. The Repair Technician will determine the final disposition of these pieces.
