Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking a Quality Assurance Field Reviewer to conduct field audits of credentialed Raters and ensure FVDT protocols are followed. This role requires 3–4 days on-site with occasional overnight travel, and you will provide written feedback to improve accuracy.

Travel is expected about monthly, with independent scheduling and route planning. DOT requirements may apply; travel is typically within 2 hours of home base.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in related roles (HERS/ECC Rater, HVAC, building inspection, energy consulting, or T24 SME).
• Strong knowledge of HERS & FVDT protocols.

Job Description

About the role As a Quality Assurance Field Reviewer, you'll be a certified HERS/ECC Rater responsible for conducting on-site and shadow audits of credentialed Raters' work under CHEERS oversight. You'll schedule and perform in-field verification of Rater-reported results, ensuring Field Verification & Diagnostic Testing (FVDT) protocols were correctly followed, and provide written feedback to Raters to address and help resolve any discrepancies found. This is a field-based role requiring 3-4 days per week on-site performing inspections, with the flexibility to travel overnight at least once a month for sites farther from home base. Day trips are typically within about 2 hours of your home base; overnight trips cover greater distances. You'll independently coordinate your own scheduling and travel routes.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' experience as a HERS/ECC Rater, HVAC Tech/Contractor, Building Inspector, Energy Consultant, or T24 SME Strong knowledge of HERS & FVDT protocols Ability to conduct field diagnostic testing HVAC installation or direct-install background a plus Excellent written communication and organization skills Independent, self-motivated, and comfortable managing your own schedule and routes

Compensation & Benefits

$65,000-$75,000/year (depending on experience)

Mileage reimbursement (current IRS rate) for use of personal vehicle

DOT Requirements

If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

Compensation Range

Compensation Range $74,500.00 - $98,400.00 Currency USD Type Salary Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
