Job summary

Interlake Mecalux, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to ensure quality objectives are met by planning and executing audits and improving production processes. The role collaborates with management to design improvements and ensures compliance with ISO-9001 standards.

The engineer will develop QA plans, validate processes, and maintain documentation while using SAP to monitor production and purchasing activities. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred to communicate across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience with quality assurance systems and audits.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve product quality by audits and investigations; collaborate with management to develop designs and methods.
• Develop QA plans by hazard analyses, critical control points, and preventive measures.
• Validate quality processes; establish specifications, document evidence, and write QA procedures.
• Prepare quality reports by analyzing trends, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
• Utilize SAP to monitor production and purchasing activities and support process optimization across departments.
• Maintain ISO-9001 quality program and uphold compliance.
• Work effectively in a factory environment.
