Job summary

Parker is seeking a Quality Engineer to manage quality operations at the plant, develop and maintain quality standards for products and processes, and provide statistical data for quality improvement. You will guide technical evaluation and data acquisition to ensure plant quality objectives are met.

Responsibilities include leading quality audits, improving supplier performance, and applying lean principles to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in quality engineering or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of SPC, MSA/GR&R, Cp/Cpk, FMEA, control plans, and PPAP/APQP basics.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; hands-on metrology tools.
• Experience with problem-solving tools (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa) and data analysis.
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, charts); Minitab is a plus.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485 (highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Develops and establishes quality systems and procedures, inspection plans, quality performance trends, statistical plans, cost estimates and technical quality plans for proposals.
• Coordinates with customers and suppliers to identify quality performance trends and corrective actions; conducts audits.
• Assesses quality performance using statistical and analytical methods; implements inspection and testing procedures.
• Analyzes cost of quality and determines responsibility for non-conforming materials.
• Leads failure analysis and corrective action investigations with cross-functional teams.
• Represents the company in audits and communicates quality improvements to customers and suppliers.
