Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Quality Engineer to manage quality operations at our Hollis, NH plant. You will develop and maintain quality systems, perform data-driven analyses, and drive improvements with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing and supply chain.

You will apply PPAP/APQP, SPC, MSA/GR&R, and GD&T principles, supporting audits and customer interactions. Collaboration and problem solving are key to ensuring product quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 1-3 years of experience in quality engineering or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of SPC, MSA/GR&R, capability (Cp/Cpk), FMEA, control plans, and PPAP/APQP basics.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; hands-on use of common metrology tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Experience with problem-solving tools (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa) and data analysis.
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, charts), Minitab is a plus.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485 (highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Develops and establishes quality systems and procedures, inspection plans, quality performance trends, statistical plans, cost estimates and technical quality plans for proposals.
• Identifies quality performance, trends and corrective action by coordinating with customers and suppliers.
• Assesses quality performance using statistical and analytical methods; implements inspection/testing procedures.
• Assesses cost of non-conformance and performs statistical analyses.
• Leads failure analysis and corrective action investigations with cross functional teams.
• Resolves quality issues and assists team to address customer feedback.
• Represents company in audits and communications with customers and suppliers.
• Educates Value Stream Team on PPAP, APQP and document control.
