Job summary

Overhead Door Corporation seeks a quality assurance professional to lead continuous improvement efforts in its Pensacola manufacturing plant. You will supervise QA staff, ensure product quality, and drive defect reduction through preventive actions and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ certifications, and strong communication skills to coordinate with manufacturing, suppliers, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Lead continuous improvement projects and participate in Kaizen events to drive process excellence.
• Maintain compliance with customer and company specifications and ensure quality processes are followed.
• Review and approve quality documentation; identify and implement corrective actions.
• Supervise direct reports and oversee QA activities in the manufacturing environment.
• ASQ certifications and LeanSigma knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product quality through workmanship standards and quality programs.
• Identify and report quality problems and drive preventive/corrective actions.
• Review quality docs and approve to ensure product quality.
• Lead defect-reduction activities with manufacturing and purchasing.
• Collaborate with vendors on non-conformances and material improvements.
• Provide product support to outside sales and customer service.
