Job summary

Jobtailor in Frederick, MD seeks a Quality Systems professional to lead ISO 9001:2015 initiatives, develop and document quality processes, and coordinate cross-functional teams in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

BS in Mechanical, Industrial, Quality Engineering or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in Quality Systems.
Experience with ISO 9001:2015 processes and procedures.
Experience in complex quality initiatives including new product development.
Knowledge of ISO quality systems and requirements.
Knowledge of quality processes and systems in a custom-configured, high-mix, low-volume, make-to-order business.
Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication, welding, pipe brazing, powder coating, wiring, and assembly processes.
Competency with SAP manufacturing and quality software.
Mechanical aptitude.
Knowledge of risk management techniques.
Computer literacy in MS Office.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including persuasion skills.
Experience with problem-solving and corrective-action development and management.
Knowledge of statistical techniques, process control charts, data collection, and analysis.

Ability to read and understand English instructions
Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, and talk or hear
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
